Full Nugenix Ultimate Review
Nugenix Ultimate is yet another iteration of the Nugenix testosterone booster. We have already done a detailed analysis of Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster, and Nugenix Ultimate seems to be a new upgrade.
So what is this product supposed to do?
According to the bottle, Nugenix Ultimate is designed to do 4 key things:
- Boost free testosterone
- Maximize muscle and strength
- Increase drive and vitality
- Modulate androgenic activity
It is described as an “advanced free testosterone complex”.
This is pretty standard stuff.
If Nugenix Ultimate is able to deliver on its first promise, boosting free testosterone, then the other benefits will follow.
Higher free testosterone levels in the blood wil lead to more muscle mass growth, strength increases, renewed confidence, a higher sex drive, and so on.
If you think you have low testosterone for whatever reason, then this is exactly what you’ve been looking for.
The question is: does it actually do this?
Can Nugenix Ultimate really increase free testosterone?
How well does it compare to other products on the market right now which make similar claims?
How does it stack up against our current top rated testosterone boosters?
Is Nugenix Ultimate safe? What are the likely side effects?
What have other people been saying about Nugenix Ultimate?
In our full Nugenix Ultimate review below, we answer all of these questions. First, we’ll take a closer look at the formula and see if it stands any chance of elevating your natural testosterone production. If you have any questions, please post them in the comment section at the end.
Nugenix Ultimate Formula
Take a look at the Nugenix Ultimate formula, as it is displayed on the label:
That’s a very interesting formula.
It is certainly a big improvement on the other Nugenix product reviewed on this site.
We have some excellent ingredients in here. We see more than one proven natural testosterone booster, and athe doses look great.
We also have some ingredients that are far less capable of affecting your testosterone levels.
Some of these ingredients have robust scientific backing, while others are backed by little more than marketing hype.
While we don’t like paying for dead weight, this does look like a beter formula than most of the ones we come across.
So, let’s get into it.
What We Like
There is a whopping 3,000mg serving of D-Aspartic Acid in each daily serving of Nugenix Ultimate.
D-Aspartic Acid (D-AA) is one of the most reliable natural testosterone boosters you can take.
It directly influences your own natural testosterone production.
D-AA basically acts as a signal to your brain to start releasing Luteinizing Hormone. LH in turn acts as a signal to your testes to start pumping out more testosterone.
If you’re using a highly potent form of D-AA, like D-AA Calcium Chelate, then you only need about 1,500mg.
But studies looking at regular D-AA, like that used in Nugenix Ultimate, have found that doses above 2,500mg work best.
The 3,000mg per serving is therefore great.
We also have a nice big serving of Stinging Nettle Root in each daily dose of Nugenix Ultimate.
Stinging Nettle Root reduces the amount of Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) in the blood.
SHBG is what binds to excess testosterone, rendering it useless as far as we’re concerned.
A compound in Stinging Nettle Root called ligans binds to SHBG. By binding to SHBG and “taking the hit”, Stinging Nettle Root effectively allows for more free testosterone to remain active in the blood.
Again, a serving of 360mg is more than enough to meet our needs, assuming the extract is of good quality.
What We Don’t Like
The Nugenix Ultimate formula contains some questionable ingredients.
For example, we get 650mg of Epimedium sagittatum leaf in Nugenix Ultimate.
Don’t be fooled by the formal name; this is just our old friend Horny Goat Weed.
Horny Goat Weed might sound like it would be a potent libido booster, but that’s sadly not the case.
Many people might claim that Horny Goat Weed is an effective treatment ofr low testosterone, but studies have shown this not to be the case.
Horny Goat Weed is pretty much useless for raising free testosterone.
Now that’s a lot of a useless ingredient to include in your formula.
While the formula also contains good ingredients, we don’t like paying good money for dead weight.
The dud ingredients in Nugenix Ultimate may not do any harm, but they don’t do any good.
Their space in the formula could easily be taken up by more effective ingredients.
Now that begs the question; do they do any harm?
We’ll look at the side effects soon, but first, let’s take a look at what users of this stack have been saying.
What Are Other People Saying About Nugenix Ultimate?
Here is a random selection of Nugenix Ultimate user reviews taken from Amazon:
Nugenix Ultimate Side Effects
All of the ingredients used in Nugenix Ultimate are widely used, well understood, and 100% natural.
On the whole, we think side effects will be rare for the vast majroty of users.
When they do occur, they are likely to be mild.
None of the ingredients are usually associated with serious adverse health consequences.
That said, some users might find they experience some of the following side effects while using these particular ingredients:
- Stomach cramps
If you experience any side effects whatsoever while using Nugenix Ultimate, esepcially any listed here, then stop using the supplement immediately and seek medical advice.
Nugenix Ultimate Review Summary – Does It Work?
We were actually pleasantly surprised by the Nugenix Ultimate formula.
Other Nugenix products we have reviewed have not been of high quality, so we assumed that Nugenix Ultimate would be the same.
But if you’ve read our full Nugenix Ultimate review, you’ll know that we think Nugenix Ultimate is a big improvement on its forerunners.
It contains superb ingredients at good doses.
Unfortunately though, it also contains some totally pointless ingredients that will do nothing for your testosterone levels.
These ingredients have pretty big serving sizes.
We think it is a big shame for so much dead weight to be in an otherwise good formula.
We don’t like paying for dead weight, and more effective ingredients could have been put to work here.
All in all, Nugenix Ultimate is not a bad testosterone booster, but it is far from the best we have seen.
