According to High Energy Labs, TestoRX is “the next generation of sports supplements”.

While this stack remains relatively unknown at present, there is some chatter about it online. A thorough, independent TestoRX review is definitely needed.

So, what is this stack all about?

What is TestoRX designed to do?

According to the official High Energy Labs website, TestoRX is designed specifically to help you “excel at the gym and in the bedroom”.

High Energy Labs TestoRX supposedly has proven results, which include:

• Increase testosterone levels
• Increase strength
• Increase lean body mass
• Boost energy
• Speed up recovery
• Increase sex drive

These aren’t surprising promises from a testosterone booster.

All of these benefits would follow from having elevated testosterone levels.

After all, that’s why pro bodybuilders inject themselves with testosterone: to increase their strength, to reduce their recovery time, and to encourage more lean muscle growth.

So this sounds like a great supplement.

The question is: does it really work?

Lots of stacks these days claim to do all of these things and more.

But only a small fraction of them actually deliver.

A tiny percentage of them work incredibly well.

High Energy Labs TestoRX Formula

Here is the TestoRX formula as it should look on the bottle:

With such bold promises, we really expected to see a great formula behind TestoRX.

Sadly, what we see is a low quality mix of proprietary blends.

We see ineffective ingredients.

We see ingredients that lack any kind of scientific backing.

We see ingredients that we have seen many times before.

As mentioned above, High Energy Labs tell us that only TestoRX uses their “Androgenic-Anabolic-Testosterone Proprietary Matrix” and their “Anti-Aromatase/Estrogen Inhibitors”.

They may be the only manufcaturers to use this precise configuration.

They may be the only ones to divide their formula in this exact way.

But what we see here is nothing new or unique.

Dividing the ingredients like this means nothing really; they’re all in the same capsule.

And the ingredients used in TestoRX are all commonly used today.

Now, there is a lot here that we have a problem with.

We really aren’t impressed with this testosterone booster.

We’ll go through our major problems one by one.

Main Issue – DHEA IS A HUMAN SEX HORMONE! – NOT A NATURAL SUPPLEMENT

You’ll see that near the bottom of the Androgenic-Anabolic-Testosterone Proprietary Matrix (sounds impressive right), is DHEA.

DHEA is a naturally occuring sex hormone.

That’s right – it’s an exogenous human steroid hormone.

Also known as androstenolone, Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) is among the most abundant circulating steroids in humans.

IN TAKING TESTORX, YOU’RE TAKING EXOGENOUS STEROID HORMONES.

This is incredibly dangerous in and of itself and should not be undertaken as lightly as you would take a natural supplement.

You really need to be aware of the risks, and you need to know what you’re doing.

The potential health effects of using DHEA can be severe and long lasting (more on this in the side effects section).

However, taking DHEA like this is in some ways worse than properly using testosterone (i.e when injecting pharma grade testosterone as part of prescribed TRT).

That’s because DHEA is a precursor to both androgen and estrogen sex hormones.

There is no way to ensure that the DHEA you ingest gets turned into testosterone and not estrogen!

Not only that, but since it is shown as part of a proprietary blend, we have no idea HOW MUCH DHEA we’re taking!

Consuming an endogenous steroid hormone through oral supplements is one thing.

Consuming one that can turn into many different androgens and estorgens is quite another.

Consuming an unknown amount of this substance is downright stupid in our opinion.

Major Problem – Proprietary Blend

As a general rule, you want to stay away from proprietary blends.

These things are only ever used by manufcaturers when they don’t want you to know the truth for some reason.

They never need to use them.

They claim others might steal their formulas, but this doens’t happen.

When using such well understood ingredients, there’s nothing to steal!

WE ALL KNOW HOW THEY WORK TOGETHER AND HOW THEY SHOULD BE DOSED!

In any case, the TestoRX proprietary blends are pretty awful.

They are over-stretched, meaning that there isn’t enough total blend to go around for all the ingredients to do what they supposedly do best.

There are a number of potential ‘filler’ ingredients in here which could easily be being used to bulk out the formula.

A manufacturer only needs to throw in a microgram of an ingredient to list it on the label.

So for all we know, 99% of the Androgenic Matrix could be Tongkat Ali Extract, and the rest of the ingredients could be barely present at all.

We hate having to guess like this; we’d rather the manufcaturer just told us the exact ingredient serving sizes.

But they haven’t.

Why do you think that is?

Lots of manufacturers decide to show their full formula specs on the bottle, and they make plenty of money.

Something doesn’t smell right here.

Serious Issue – Bogus Ingredients

Even if most of the High Energy Labs TestoRX formula were made up of high quality testosterone boosters, we still wouldn’t want to use it ourselves.

The fact that it contains an unknown quantity of DHEA alone is enough for us to stay away.

The fact that it uses prop blends would be enough by itself as well.

The fact that these prop blends are over-stretched, leaving some ingredients inevitably under-dosed, is another mark against it (as if it needed one).

But the icing on the cake is the fact that most of the ingredients in this stack are useless.

The first ingredient listed in the Androgenic-Anabolic-Testosterone Matrix is Tribulus Terrestris.

We see this is many natural testosterone boosters, and we have no idea why.

Tribulus has been shown in numerous clinical trials now to be completely ineffectual.

We don’t know how much Tribulus Terrestris is in High Energy Labs TestoRX.

It could constitute 99% of the blend.

It could constitute 1%.

Either way, it has no reason to be here.

There are many ingredients in TestoRX which have never been proven to work, and some which have been shown not to work: Chrysin, Velvet Bean Extract, Muria Puama, we could go on.

High Energy Labs TestoRX Side Effects

There are some pretty serious side effect risks associated with TestoRX use.

Obviously, the most notable risk is posed by the DHEA.

As explained above, DHEA is an exogenous human steroid hormone.

Consuming exogenous human sex hormones is extremely dangerous when not undertaken under medical supervision. Side effects include:

• Kidney damage
• Liver damage
• Increased risk of heart disease
• Prostate damage
• Hypertension
• High red blood cell count
• High cholesterol

The fact that you will be consuming this hormone orally increases the likelihood that it will cause damage to the liver, as it must pass through it twice in order to be broken down.

DHEA poses some particular risks. Common side effects of using DHEA include:

• Oily skin
• Acne
• High blood pressure
• Irregular heart beat
• Hair loss
• Facial hair growth (women)
• Deepening of the voice (women)
• Fatigue
• Insomnia
• Increases in cholesterol levels
• Breast tissue growth
• Loss of strength
• Loss of stamina
• Water retention

The last few side effects in particular relate to DHEA’s ability to convert into estrogen as well as androgenic steroids.

Elevated estrogen levels will cause a number of serious problems in men.

As well as the DHEA, we have other ingredients known to cause side effects.

Namely, DIM.

Found naturaly in broccoli, DIM is said to be an aromatase inhibitor.

That means that it inhibits the formation of the enzyme responsible for turning testosterone in estrogen.

Evidence for this effect is thin.

But more worryingly, DIM is thought to actually work in reverse when consumed in large amounts.

If consumed in large amounts, DIM can INCREASE aromatase activity.

It is important to remember that we aren’t doctors.

We can’t give you proper medical advice.

We can’t tell you if a supplement will be 100% safe for you.

All we can do is raise red flags when we see them.

Do not take human sex hormones lightly; they can have a profound effect on your body, both positive and negative (often at the same time).

We really don’t think that this supplement is a good idea for anyone looking to safely, reliably, and effectively raise testosterone levels.

If you’ve read the whole High Energy Labs TestoRX review, you’ll know that our main gripe is the use of DHEA.

We don’t think anyone should use DHEA.

While seemingly milder, it poses more risks than using pharmaceutical grade testosterone under medical supervision.

Consuming DHEA orally can cause liver and kidney damage, increase your cholesterol, and raise your estrogen levels.

This isn’t something you want to mess around with.

DHEA aside, the formula itself is poor.

We have some over-stretched prop blends with some totally useless ingredients.

We don’t know if these impotent ingredients make up 1% of the blend or 99%.

We don’t want to guess.

Plenty of stacks tell us their formula in full right on the label.

They don’t require us to do this kind of guesswork.
